Comfortair branded ceiling fans have a 2 year "in home" warranty, supported by our "Warranty Provider", for fans installed in a domestic environment - by a licenced electrical contractor.

Some important information should be retained to assist in the timely processing of any warranty claim.

You will need to retain your original purchase receipt, as well as the details of the installing licenced electrical contractor, and install date.

Before contacting the warranty service provider you should ensure that:

• The fan has been installed by a licenced electrical contractor.
• That the fan should always be started on the highest speed, and then adjusted to medium or low speed.
• That a period of "running in" assists the sealed bearing to function properly.

Many problems with ceiling fans can be handled at installation, or result from poor installation proceedure. There are detailed instructions and a Warranty Information sheet included with your Comfortair - please ensure that the installing contractor reads & understands these.
